Job Title: IT Technician 

Reports to: CEO

Compensation: $40,000-50,000/year

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Location: On-site in our Corporate Office

 

Northpoint Recovery Holdings, LLC, established in 2009, is a growing, behavioral healthcare treatment platform treating adults with substance use disorder and co-occurring conditions under the Northpoint Recovery brand and adolescents with mental healthcare conditions under the Imagine by Northpoint brand. POSITION SUMMARY: The IT Technician installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop PCs, laptops, and related software and peripherals; possesses a basic working knowledge of computer networking and network troubleshooting; ensures all PC hardware, software and network connectivity/access problems are resolved in a timely manner by prioritizing support tickets; including in-person, remote or phone support. 

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented IT Technician to join our IT team. This entry-level position is a great opportunity to build your career in IT, supporting critical business operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring optimal performance for all users. 

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 

  • Provide Tier 1 support to resolve technical issues, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems. 
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, and other IT equipment for end users. 
  • Assist with maintaining and monitoring the organization’s network, servers, and systems. 
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets promptly and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary. 
  • Educate end users on best practices for using IT systems securely and efficiently. 
  • Track and document all work performed using helpdesk software to ensure accurate reporting and follow-up. 
  • Perform routine IT tasks, including software updates, system patches, and backups. 
  • Support the IT team with special projects, including equipment rollouts, migrations, and upgrades. 
  • Maintain an organized inventory of IT assets, including tracking issued equipment. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including security and confidentiality requirements. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s degree in IT or a related field is a plus. 
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
  • Entry-level IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundations, or equivalent preferred. 
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts, hardware troubleshooting, and operating systems (Windows, macOS). 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a commitment to excellent customer service. 
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools, technologies, and workflows. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. 
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.  

 

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: 

  • Familiarity with helpdesk tools, ticketing systems, or remote support applications. 
  • Exposure to healthcare IT environments or HIPAA compliance is a bonus. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and basic troubleshooting of productivity software. 
  • An eagerness to develop technical skills and grow within the company. 

 

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: 

  • Completion of a tuberculin screening during first week of employment 
  • Completion of a pre-employment drug screening, post-accident and upon reasonable suspicion of use 
  • Completion of new employee orientation and required paperwork prior to reporting to work, including acknowledgment of all Company policies 
  • Demonstrated computer literacy 
  • Attendance at all mandatory staff development and training 
  • Completion of background and professional reference checks
