Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday 12-5pm (Flexible) AND Tuesday 3-7pm (Required); Fridays Off
Reports To: Adolescent Program Director

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The primary responsibility of the Adolescent Counselor position is to serve our mission by delivering compassionate, ethical, and quality care to our adolescent clients and to supervise the day-to-day clinical activities in accordance with internal policies, and federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern Northpoint. In tandem with our multidisciplinary team, you are entrusted to ensure that the highest degree of quality care will always be provided to our clients. Our clinical staff have a unique opportunity for professional growth and make a significant difference in the lives of many through their work with our diverse patient population.
THE MUST HAVES:
- Master’s Degree or higher in a mental health or social science field from and accredited college or university
- Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Counselor in Nebraska
- LIMHP, LMHP, PLMHP Required. License-eligible individuals are encouraged to inquire about opportunities for those working towards licensure
- Current and nationally accredited CPR/First Aid/AED certification
- Knowledge of computer and EMR systems
- Enthusiasm, passion for working with people, and internal drive to improve the lives of individuals in our care
- We love new grads! However, two (2) years of experience as a Counselor with one (1) year of adolescent experience would really dazzle us!!
- Ability to pass a criminal background check as well as professional reference checks
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, feel, reach, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear
Job Type: Part-Time
Pay: $29.00 - $36.00 depending on license and experience
