Job Title: Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst & Administrator
Reports To: Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management
Location: Remote; Candidates local to Meridian, ID will travel to the Home Office for on-site meetings & events
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm MST (Hours must be worked in MST)
Compensation: $30-32/hour

POSITION SUMMARY: As a key member of the Revenue Cycle Management team, the Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst & Administrator will be responsible for spearheading cross-functional systems updates and configuration projects, leveraging advanced data modeling techniques with the Business Intelligence department to drive strategic decision-making, and identify optimization opportunities within Revenue Cycle Management. This role will accelerate system optimization and business solutions to drive the best-in-class Revenue Cycle Management systems' performance. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has a blend of technical expertise and business acumen, is a self-starter, a strategic thinker, and ultimately one who can translate key business questions into systems-driven strategies. The Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst & Administrator must incorporate strong and effective communication skills to provide clear and actionable feedback to staff regarding their performance and productivity.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Develops RCM applications and solutions by investigating processes to understand data and workflows with individual tasks and transactions.
- Participates in Information Systems group projects to support new and installed systems with a particular focus on Lightning Step EMR, Waystar, and other business systems and enterprises.
- Support cross-functional teams during implementations/renewals and develop solutions for plan variations.
- Provide support to team members for escalations and complex configuration requests.
- Provide application support to meet the requirements of assigned user departments, working in conjunction with department system owners and super-users.
- Be a leader on the configuration team by supporting training, process development, peer review, and quality analysis.
- Work closely with the Principal Analyst to ensure a timely response to user requests for software maintenance and enhancement.
- Additional responsibilities include planning, design, testing, documentation, training, implementation, and ongoing support activities; working with functional management and staff to define problems and devise solutions; performing workflow analysis in user areas; quality control; problem and change management.
- Serve as a team member for new systems or enhancements.
- Partner with the EMR Specialist and BI/technology teams to ensure the reporting and analytics infrastructure is stable and high performing.
- Ensures compliance with all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
- Support financial and billing audit and data requests.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with established policies and procedures and standards of care.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of Revenue Cycle Management systems analysis, implementation, & administration is required
- 3+ years of experience in the healthcare field is required; experience in Behavioral Health preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Information systems, Health Information Management, or a healthcare related field is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, complemented by expertise in tools like Power BI, Tableau, AI, and clearing house
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of CPT and ICD-10 coding regulations and familiarity with major payer guidelines
- Must be self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
- Demonstrated ability to develop both internal and external working relationships
- Proven skills in working independently on several projects concurrently
